AN ACT CONCERNING VETERANS' BENEFITS IN MEDICAID
ELIGIBILITY DETERMINATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to require that all 1
veterans' benefits be excluded from the income of any veteran, as 2
defined in section 27-103 of the general statutes, for purposes of 3
determining such veteran's eligibility for assistance from a state 4
Medicaid program. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require that all veterans' benefits be disregarded when determining
income eligibility for Medicaid assistance.
