AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO MEDICAL RECORDS OF AN
INDIVIDUAL WHO DIES IN STATE CUSTODY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a procedure to 1
allow access to medical records when a person who is incarcerated or 2
under the care of any state agency dies. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a procedure to allow access to medical records when a
person who is incarcerated or under the care of any state agency dies.
