AN ACT CONCERNING THE EMPOWERMENT OF MINORS TO GET
SEXUAL ASSAULT FORENSIC EXAMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to eliminate obstacles that 1
may prevent a minor victim of sexual assault from getting a sexual 2
assault forensic exam and to empower such individuals with the 3
knowledge of how to seek such an exam. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To eliminate obstacles that may prevent a minor victim of sexual
assault from getting a sexual assault forensic exam and to empower
such individuals with the knowledge of how to seek such an exam.
