AN ACT CONCERNING THE PERFORMANCE OF CERTAIN MOTOR
VEHICLE SERVICES BY MUNICIPALITIES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 14-41 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Department of Motor Vehicles to enter into agreements with 2
municipalities to issue duplicate licenses and identity cards, renew 3
licenses and identity cards and conduct registration transactions. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To promote efficiencies by permitting municipalities to perform certain
services currently provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles.
