AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF THE CENTRAL
CONNECTICUT LOOP TRAIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the Commissioners 1
of Transportation and Energy and Environmental Protection to jointly 2
coordinate and authorize funding for the planning, designing and 3
construction of a trail from East Hampton through Portland, 4
Middletown, Meriden and Cheshire and to facilitate multimodal access 5
through the railroad station in Meriden. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To connect the Air Line Trail with the Farmington Canal Heritage
Trail.
