23 | 23 | That title 13b of the general statutes be amended to exempt any 1 | |
24 | 24 | individual who is a veteran, as defined in subsection (a) of section 27-2 | |
25 | 25 | 103 of the general statutes, from payment of the lawful charge for 3 | |
26 | 26 | state-owned or state-controlled bus public transportation service, 4 | |
27 | 27 | provided such person presents to the fare inspector, as defined in 5 | |
28 | 28 | section 13b-2 of the general statutes, or the driver of such bus, as 6 | |
29 | 29 | applicable, a motor vehicle operator's license or identity card that 7 | |
30 | 30 | indicates such person's status as a veteran. 8 | |
