20	20		AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF VETERANS' TAX ABATEM ENTS.
21	21		Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
22	22		Assembly convened:

24	24		Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of Veterans 1
25	25		Affairs shall conduct a study of tax abatements available to veterans in 2
26	26		this state to determine whether the amounts of such abatements 3
27	27		should be increased. The commissioner shall report, in accordance 4
28	28		with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings 5
29	29		of such study to the joint standing committee of the General Assembly 6
30	30		having cognizance of matters relating to veterans' and military affairs 7
31	31		on or before January 1, 2020. 8
32	32		This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
