AN ACT CONCERNING THE VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY FOR
CERTAIN VETERANS' PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to streamline the process by 1
which a person's age, disability and status as a veteran, as defined in 2
subsection (a) of section 27-103 of the general statutes, are verified for 3
purposes of determining such person's eligibility for property tax 4
exemptions under section 12-81 of the general statutes. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To streamline the process by which a veteran's age, disability and
veteran status are verified for purposes of determining such veteran's
eligibility for certain property tax exemptions.
