2626 AN ACT AUTHORIZING BONDS OF THE STATE FOR THE
2727 DEVELOPMENT OF A WOMEN'S HALFWAY HOUSE IN NEW HAVEN.
2828 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2929 Assembly convened:

3131 That the State Bond Commission be empowered to authorize the 1
3232 issuance of bonds of the state in accordance with section 3-20 of the 2
3333 general statutes, in principal amounts not exceeding in the aggregate 3
3434 five hundred thousand dollars, the proceeds of which shall be used by 4
3535 the Department of Economic and Community Development for the 5
3636 purpose of providing a grant-in-aid to the city of New Haven for the 6
3737 development of a women's halfway house in New Haven for women 7
3838 transitioning back into the community from incarceration. 8
3939 Statement of Purpose:
