AN ACT CONCERNING CH ILDREN'S HEALTH.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Commissioner of Public Health 1
shall conduct a study to determine whether policy and procedural 2
changes within the Department of Public Health may improve the 3
health of children throughout the state. The commissioner shall report, 4
in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 5
statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of 6
the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 7
children on or before January 1, 2020. 8
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:

Statement of Purpose:
To direct the Commissioner of Public Health to conduct a study to
determine whether policy and procedural changes within the
Department of Public Health may improve the health of children.
