| 24 | 23 | Section 1. (Effective July 1, 2019) The Commissioner of Public Health 1 | |
| 25 | 24 | shall conduct a study to determine whether policy and procedural 2 | |
| 26 | 25 | changes within the Department of Public Health may improve the 3 | |
| 27 | 26 | health of children throughout the state. The commissioner shall report, 4 | |
| 28 | 27 | in accordance with the provisions of section 11-4a of the general 5 | |
| 29 | 28 | statutes, the findings of such study to the joint standing committee of 6 | |
| 30 | 29 | the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 7 | |
| 31 | 30 | children on or before January 1, 2020. 8 | |
