2019 AN ACT CONCERNING EX PENDITURES FOR FRINGE BENEFITS.
2120 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2221 Assembly convened:

2423 Section 1. (Effective from passage) The Comptroller shall conduct a 1
2524 review of expenditures for fringe benefits during the biennium ending 2
2625 June 30, 2019, and identify opportunities to reduce such expenditures 3
2726 for the constituent units of the state system of public higher education, 4
2827 including The University of Connecticut Health Center, the 5
2928 Department of Transportation, the Connecticut Airport Authority and 6
3029 resident state troopers. Not later than February 1, 2020, the 7
3130 Comptroller shall submit, in accordance with section 11-4a of the 8
3231 general statutes, the results of its review and any recommendations for 9
3332 the reduction of such expenditures to the joint standing committee of 10
3433 the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 11
3534 appropriations and the budgets of state agencies. 12
3635 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
