912 AN ACT AMENDING A CO NVEYANCE OF A PARCEL OF STATE
1013 LAND IN THE TOWN OF FARMINGTON.
1114 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1215 Assembly convened:

14-Section 1. Subsection (a) of section 3 of special act 15-1 of the June
15-special session is amended to read as follows (Effective from passage):
16-(a) Notwithstanding any provision of the general statutes other than
17-section 3-14b of the general statutes, the Commissioner of
18-Transportation shall convey to the town of Farmington, in accordance
19-with section 3-14b of the general statutes, a portion of a parcel of land
20-located in the town of Farmington, [at a cost equal to the fair market
21-value of the property, as determined by the average of the appraisals
22-of two independent appraisers selected by the commissioner, plus the
23-administrative costs of making such conveyance, ] after the
24-commissioner determines that such portion is not necessary for
25-highway purposes. Said parcel of land has an area of approximately
26-2.54 acres and the portion to be conveyed shall be equivalent to the
27-portion the commissioner determines is not necessary for highway
28-purposes. Said parcel is identified as a portion of the parcel shown on
29-a map entitled "Compilation Plan; Town of Farmington; Map Showing
30-Land Acquired from Parsons Properties, LLC by the State of
31-Connecticut Department of Transportation; Safety and Traffic Substitute Senate Bill No. 1128
