9-AN ACT CONCERNING TH E CONVEYANCE OF A PA RCEL OF
10-STATE LAND ON PERCIV AL AVENUE IN THE TOWN OF BERLIN.

27+LAND ON PERCIVAL AVE NUE IN THE TOWN OF BERLIN.
1128 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
1229 Assembly convened:

14-Section 1. (Effective from passage) (a) Notwithstanding any provision
15-of the general statutes, on or before July 1, 2019, the Commissioner of
16-Transportation shall solicit competitive bids to sell a parcel of land
17-located in the town of Berlin. Said parcel of land is .045 acre and is
18-identified as the parcel of land adjacent to the Kensington
19-Congregational Church located at 312 Percival Avenue in the town of
20-Berlin, and is further identified as the parcel described in Department
21-of Transportation File No. 7-000-65. Notwithstanding any provision of
22-the general statutes, the Department of Transportation shall use an
23-expedited process to sell said parcel to the highest bidder and said sale
24-shall not be subject to the approval of the State Properties Review
25-Board.
26-(b) The parcel shall remain under the care and control of the
27-Department of Transportation until a sale is made in accordance with
28-the provisions of this section. The State Treasurer shall execute and
29-deliver any deed or instrument necessary for said sale. The
30-Commissioner of Transportation shall have the sole responsibility for
31-all other incidents of said sale. Senate Bill No. 1203
