AN ACT ESTABLISHING A SERVICE RIBBON FOR MEMBERS OF
THE ARMED FORCES PRO VIDING HONOR GUARD DETAIL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2020) The Adjutant General may 1
issue a service ribbon, within available appropriations, to each member 2
of the armed forces providing honor guard detail at funerals of veterans 3
pursuant to section 27-76 of the general statutes. 4
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
Section 1 July 1, 2020 New section
Statement of Purpose:
To authorize the Adjutant General to issue a service ribbon to each
member of the armed forces providing honor guard detail at funerals of
veterans.
