2020 AN ACT CONCERNING TH E ANNUAL REPORT OF B ENEFITS TO

2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 Section 1. Section 27-102p of the general statutes is repealed and the 1
2626 following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective from passage): 2
2727 (a) Not later than July [15, 2007, and] fifteenth annually, [thereafter,] 3
2828 each state agency or municipality that provides benefits to veterans, as 4
2929 defined in section 27-103, shall submit a report to the Commissioner of 5
3030 [Veterans'] Veterans Affairs, in the manner and form prescribed by the 6
3131 commissioner, that includes a description of each type of benefit 7
3232 provided to veterans, the value of such benefit and the number of 8
3333 veterans to whom such benefit was provided, for the twelve-month 9
3434 period ending on June thirtieth of the same year. [The commissioner 10
3535 shall compile the data in such report.] 11
3636 (b) Not later than August [1, 2007, and] thirtieth annually, 12
3737 [thereafter,] the Commissioner of [Veterans'] Veterans Affairs shall 13
3838 submit a report of the data compiled pursuant to subsection (a) of this 14

4545 same year, to the Military Department and the joint standing committee 16
4646 of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to 17
4747 [public safety] military and veterans' affairs, in accordance with the 18
4848 provisions of section 11-4a. Such report shall specify the total number of 19
4949 veterans receiving benefits and the value of such benefits by category of 20
5050 benefit and in total for such period. 21
