AN ACT ESTABLISHING A VETERANS' CEMETERY ACCOUNT.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
Section 1. (NEW) (Effective July 1, 2020) There is established an 1
account to be known as the "veterans' cemetery account" which shall be 2
a separate, nonlapsing account within the General Fund. The account 3
shall contain any moneys required by law to be deposited in the account 4
which shall include, but not be limited to, all reimbursements paid to 5
the Department of Veterans Affairs by the federal government for 6
expenses incurred by said department for the maintenance of any 7
veterans' cemetery established pursuant to section 27-122a of the 8
general statutes. Moneys in the account shall be expended by the 9
Commissioner of Veterans Affairs for the maintenance of any such 10
veterans' cemetery and for no other purpose. 11
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
sections:
