AN ACT INCREASING THE PERSONAL NEEDS ALLOWANCE FOR
CERTAIN LONG-TERM CARE FACILITY RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That section 17b-106 of the 2020 supplement to the general statutes 1
and section 17b-272 of the general statutes be amended to increase the 2
personal needs allowance from sixty to seventy-two dollars for long-3
term care facility residents who receive medical assistance. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To allow long-term care facility residents who receive medical
assistance to keep more of their income for personal needs.
