AN ACT CONCERNING A MILITARY PERMIT FOR THE SALE OF 
ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
Section 1. Section 30-34 of the general statutes is repealed and the 1 
following is substituted in lieu thereof (Effective July 1, 2020): 2 
A military permit shall allow the retail sale of [beer] alcoholic liquor 3 
at any camp or military installation used and controlled by the 4 
Connecticut National Guard or the state guard, for on or off premises 5 
consumption. The annual fee for a military permit shall be thirty dollars.  6 
This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following 
sections: 
 
Section 1 July 1, 2020 30-34 
 
Statement of Purpose:   
To expand the military permit under the Liquor Control Act to the sale 
of alcoholic liquor.  Raised Bill No.  221
