1919 AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF VETERANS' TAX ABATEMENTS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 Section 1. (NEW) (Effective from passage) The Commissioner of 1
2424 Veterans Affairs shall conduct a study of tax abatements available to 2
2525 veterans, as defined in section 27-103 of the general statutes, to 3
2626 determine (1) whether the amounts of such tax abatements should be 4
2727 increased, and (2) whether a tax abatement incentive program should 5
2828 be established to offer veterans employed within Connecticut, but 6
2929 residing outside the state, an incentive to relocate to Connecticut. The 7
3030 commissioner shall report, in accordance with the provisions of section 8
3131 11-4a of the general statutes, the findings of such study to the joint 9
3232 standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of 10
3333 matters relating to military and veterans' affairs on or before January 1, 11
3434 2021. 12
3535 This act shall take effect as follows and shall amend the following
