1919 AN ACT PROPORTIONALLY AWARDING THE STATE'S ELECTORAL
2020 COLLEGE VOTES FOR PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT OF THE
2121 UNITED STATES.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That title 9 of the general statutes be amended to provide that (1) the 1
2626 two electors of President and Vice President of the United States 2
2727 corresponding to the senators in Congress to which the state is entitled 3
2828 shall cast their ballots for the Presidential and Vice Presidential 4
2929 candidates receiving the highest total of votes state-wide, and (2) each 5
3030 of the five such electors corresponding to the representative in Congress 6
3131 to which each of the state's five congressional districts is entitled shall 7
3232 cast such elector's respective ballot for the Presidential and Vice 8
3333 Presidential candidates receiving the highest total votes in the 9
3434 corresponding congressional district. 10
