| 25 | 25 | That the general statutes be amended to require: (1) The 1 | |
| 26 | 26 | Commissioner of Public Health to adopt regulations (A) providing for 2 | |
| 27 | 27 | the certification and education of peer support specialists, and (B) 3 | |
| 28 | 28 | specifying the peer support services that a certified peer support 4 | |
| 29 | 29 | specialist may provide to another individual in this state; and (2) health 5 | |
| 30 | 30 | insurance coverage for peer support services provided by certified peer 6 | |
| 31 | 31 | support specialists on an outpatient basis. 7 | |
