AN ACT CONCERNING IMMUNITY FROM ARREST FOR POSSESSION OF ALCOHOL BY A MINOR WHEN A PERSON UNDER TWENTY -ONE YEARS OF AGE SEEKS ASSISTANCE FOR POSSIBLE ALCOHOL POISONING. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to provide immunity from 1 arrest for possession of alcohol by a minor when a person under twenty-2 one years of age seeks medical assistance for possible alcohol poisoning, 3 provided such person is the first to call for assistance, remains at the 4 scene of the incident and cooperates with law enforcement and medical 5 personnel. 6 Statement of Purpose: To save lives by encouraging minors to seek medical assistance for alcohol poisoning.
