AN ACT REQUIRING BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR YOUTH SPORTS
COACHES, TRAINERS AND INSTRUCTORS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require background checks 1
for coaches, trainers and instructors involved in organized youth sports. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To require background checks for coaches, trainers and instructors
involved in organized youth sports.
