1818 AN ACT CONCERNING SERVICES FOR INDIVIDUALS EXPOSED TO
1919 A TRAUMATIC EVENT.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That the general statutes be amended to authorize or mandate police 1
2424 departments to share information with the Departments of Education 2
2525 and Social Services regarding individuals receiving services from or 3
2626 under the jurisdiction of said departments who have been exposed to a 4
2727 traumatic event not later than twenty-four hours after exposure to 5
2828 enable said departments to provide services and support to such 6
2929 individuals. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To create a broader safety net of care and support for individuals in the
3232 community who have been exposed to a traumatic event.
