1818 AN ACT CONCERNING STANDARDS FOR THE INSPECTION OF
1919 SALONS AND LICENSING OF NAIL TECHNICIANS, ESTHETICIANS
2020 AND EYELASH TECHNICIANS.
2121 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2222 Assembly convened:

2424 That (1) the Commissioner of Public Health, in collaboration with the 1
2525 Commissioner of Administrative Services, be required to study and 2
2626 implement the provisions of federal Executive Order No. 13627-3
2727 Strengthening Protections Against Trafficking in Persons in Federal 4
2828 Contracts with regard to the inspection of salons employing any nail 5
2929 technicians, estheticians or eyelash technicians, and (2) the general 6
3030 statutes be amended to require the Department of Public Health to 7
3131 license nail technicians, estheticians and eyelash technicians. 8
3232 Statement of Purpose:
3333 To require (1) the Commissioner of Public Health, in collaboration with
