Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the Department of Emergency Services and Public Protection, in 1 consultation with the Department of Public Health, study the 2 technologies, including global positioning system technology, that are 3 available to police officers, firefighters and emergency medical services 4 personnel to use when responding to opioid overdoses. 5 Statement of Purpose: To study technologies that may assist police officers, firefighters and emergency medical services personnel when responding to opioid overdoses.
