AN ACT CONCERNING THE RETENTION OF INFORMATION
COLLECTED USING INFRARED NUMBER PLATE SCANNING
TECHNOLOGY.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a process for the 1
retention of information collected by law enforcement units using 2
infrared number plate scanning technology. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To protect state residents from an unreasonably long retention of
information collected by law enforcement units using infrared number
plate scanning technology.
