AN ACT ESTABLISHING A WORKING GROUP TO STUDY THE 
FEASIBILITY OF ALLOWING VIDEO CAMERAS IN THE ROOMS OF 
NURSING HOME RESIDENTS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 17a of the general statutes be amended to establish a 1 
working group under the auspices of the Office of the Long-Term Care 2 
Ombudsman to study the feasibility of allowing video cameras in the 3 
rooms of nursing home residents to promote resident well-being, 4 
including by enhancing communication with family members. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To establish a working group to discuss the feasibility of allowing video 
cameras in the rooms of nursing home residents.
