AN ACT APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR HOUSING RESOURCES FOR
THE HOMELESS AND TO PREVENT HOMELESSNESS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the sum of ____ dollars be appropriated to the Department of 1
Housing, from the General Fund, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022, 2
for (1) the coordinated access networks providing housing counseling 3
and navigation and financial assistance to prevent households in crisis 4
from entering shelters and to support regional coordination and 5
collaboration activities, and (2) the United Way of Connecticut 2-1-1 6
Infoline program for additional staff to respond to housing and shelter-7
related calls. 8
Statement of Purpose:
To provide increased funding for the coordinated access networks and
the United Way of Connecticut 2-1-1 Infoline program for housing
resources.
