AN ACT CONCERNING NONEMERGENCY TRANSPORTATION FOR
NONAMBULATORY NURSING HOME RESIDENTS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 17b of the general statutes be amended to expand 1
nonemergency transportation opportunities for a nonambulatory 2
nursing home resident to include visits to the homes of family members 3
located in the same municipality as the nursing home. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To provide more opportunities for nonambulatory nursing home
residents to visit the homes of nearby families.
