1818 AN ACT CONCERNING THE PROVISION OF NECESSARY MEDICAL
1919 TREATMENT FOR DRUG-DEPENDENT PERSONS.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That: (1) Section 54-36i of the general statutes be amended to provide 1
2424 that moneys remaining in the drug assets forfeiture revolving account 2
2525 at the end of a fiscal year shall not revert to the General Fund but shall 3
2626 remain in the revolving account and be allocated to the Department of 4
2727 Mental Health and Addiction Services for the provision of inpatient 5
2828 treatment services for drug-dependent persons at facilities operated by 6
2929 or under contract with the department; and (2) the general statutes be 7
3030 amended to provide that the Probate Court Administrator shall, within 8
3131 available appropriations, prepare and distribute informational 9
3232 materials that are designed to inform the public of Probate Court 10
3333 procedures that may be of assistance in securing necessary medical 11
3434 treatment for a drug-dependent person. 12

3636 To combat opioid abuse and addiction.
