AN ACT CONCERNING ACCESS TO THE MEETING MINUTES OF
PUBLICLY FUNDED CEMETERY ASSOCIATIONS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subsection (d) of section 19a-296 of the general statutes be 1
amended to provide that any cemetery association that receives funding 2
from a municipality or other public source shall, upon the filing of a 3
petition with the Probate Court in the district within which the cemetery 4
is located, disclose to the petitioner the minutes of any meeting held by 5
the cemetery association. 6
Statement of Purpose:
To ensure transparency of publicly funded cemetery associations.
