AN ACT CONCERNING UNREGISTERED MOTOR VEHICLES.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit municipalities to 1
adopt ordinances for the purposes of (1) levying fines against the 2
owners of motor vehicles that are not registered in this state but are 3
subject to property taxation in this state, and (2) imposing liens against 4
such owners' real property. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To permit municipalities to levy fines and impose liens against the
owners of motor vehicles that are not registered in this state but are
subject to property taxation in this state.
