AN ACT CONCERNING THE MONITORING OF THE DISPENSING AND
ADMINISTRATION OF OPIOID DRUGS BY VETERINARIANS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 20 of the general statutes be amended to require the 1
Connecticut Board of Veterinary Medicine to promulgate regulations to 2
limit, monitor and track the dispensing and administration of opioid 3
drugs by veterinarians for pets. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To limit, monitor and track the dispensing and administration of opioid
drugs by veterinarians.
