AN ACT CONCERNING PATIENT ACCESS TO MEDICAL
INFORMATION OBTAINED DURING AN EYE EXAMINATION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to require the inclusion in a 1
patient's medical record of all information obtained by a licensed vision 2
care specialist during an examination of the patient and the provision of 3
such information to the patient at the patient's request. 4
Statement of Purpose:
To enable patient access to medical information obtained during an
examination by a licensed vision care specialist.
