1818 AN ACT RESTRICTING THE USE OF CERTAIN STATE LANDS
1919 DURING THE HUNTING SEASON AND REQUIRING THE USE OF
2020 CERTAIN AMOUNTS OF FLUORESCENT ORANGE CLOTHING BY
2121 PERSONS ON SUCH STATE LANDS.
2222 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2323 Assembly convened:

2525 That the general statutes be amended to restrict the use of certain 1
2626 state lands that are available for firearms and muzzleloader hunting 2
2727 purposes during such hunting season to only such hunting. 3
2828 Furthermore, all persons present on state lands that are available for 4
2929 firearms or muzzleloader hunting, during the firearms and 5
3030 muzzleloader season, shall be required to wear four hundred square 6
3131 inches of fluorescent orange clothing above the waist that is visible from 7
3232 all sides.8
3333 Statement of Purpose:
3434 To provide firearms and muzzleloader permittees with adequate space
3535 to perform hunting on state lands used for such purposes and to ensure
3636 the safety of all persons present on such state lands during such hunting
3737 season.
