| 25 | 25 | | That sections 38a-503 and 38a-530 of the general statutes be amended 1 |

| 26 | 26 | | to: (1) Require health insurance coverage for diagnostic mammograms, 2 |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | ultrasound screenings and magnetic resonance imaging of breasts and 3 |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | breast biopsies for both women and men; (2) reduce the minimum age 4 |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | at which an individual or group health insurance policy is required to 5 |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | provide coverage for a baseline mammogram from thirty-five to thirty 6 |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | years of age; and (3) require health insurance coverage for the detection 7 |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | and diagnosis of breast cancer in an individual who has been treated for 8 |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | a childhood cancer, and received radiation treatment that was directed 9 |
|---|
| 34 | 34 | | at the individual's chest as part of the treatment for said childhood 10 |

| 35 | 35 | | cancer, regardless of such individual's age. 11 |
