1818 AN ACT CONCERNING SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING IN THE
1919 WORKPLACE.
2020 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
2121 Assembly convened:

2323 That section 46a-54 of the general statutes be amended to provide that 1
2424 if an employee has received the training provided by the commission 2
2525 pursuant to the provisions of subdivision (8) of subsection (a) of section 3
2626 46a-56 of the general statutes, while employed by a different employer 4
2727 within the two-year period preceding the employee's date of hire, an 5
2828 employer may consider the employee's prior training to satisfy the 6
2929 training requirements of this section. 7
3030 Statement of Purpose:
3131 To reduce duplicative sexual harassment training requirements for
3232 certain employees.
