AN ACT CREATING A THREE STRIKES POLICY FOR RESIDENTIAL
RENTERS AND OWNERS UPON WHOSE PROPERTY OPIOID
OVERDOSES HAVE OCCURRED.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish criminal penalties 1
increasing in severity for renters and owners of residential property 2
upon which opioid overdoses have occurred. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a "three-strikes" policy of criminal penalties increasing in
severity for renters and owners of residential property upon which
opioid overdoses have occurred.
