AN ACT CONCERNING THE DIRECT SALES OF MOTOR VEHICLES
AND THE USE OF ELECTRIC AND ZERO-EMISSION VEHICLES IN
THE STATE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to permit the sale of motor 1
vehicles directly to the consumer and to encourage the use of electric 2
and zero-emission vehicles in the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To permit the sale of motor vehicles directly to the consumer without
requiring sales through an existing car dealer and to encourage the
adoption of electric and zero-emission vehicles in the state.
