AN ACT CONCERNING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF CERTAIN
REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO MAKING CERTAIN CHANGES TO A
SCHOOL DISTRICT'S LEARNING MODEL.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require a local or 1
regional board of education to conduct an open public comment period 2
and hold a vote prior to any changes to the learning model being used 3
for the provision of public education to students in the school district if 4
such changes will be in effect for more than ten days. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To require an open public comment period and a vote by the local or
regional board of education prior to making certain changes to the
school district's learning model.
