AN ACT INCREASING ACCESS TO FEMININE HYGIENE PRODUCTS 
IN MIDDLE SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL RESTROOMS. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General 
Assembly convened: 
 
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to require local and 1 
regional boards of education to provide free feminine hygiene products, 2 
as defined in section 18-69e of the general statutes, in restrooms that are 3 
accessible to students in each middle school and high school under the 4 
jurisdiction of such boards. 5 
Statement of Purpose:   
To require local and regional boards of education to provide free 
feminine hygiene products in all middle and high school student 
restrooms.
