AN ACT CONCERNING THE CREATION OF INCENTIVES FOR
MINORITY TEACHER CERTIFICATION AND RETENTION.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 10 of the general statutes be amended to create incentives 1
for minority teacher certification and retention in rural and suburban 2
school districts. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To create incentives to increase minority teacher certification and
retention in rural and suburban school districts throughout the state.
