AN ACT CONCERNING THE ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS WITH INDIVIDUALIZED EDUCATION PROGRAMS AT TECHNICAL EDUCATION AND CAREER SCHOOLS. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That subsection (c) of section 10-76q of the general statutes be 1 amended to repeal the provision that permits a technical education and 2 career school to refer a student who requires special education to the 3 board of education in the town in which such student resides for the 4 development of an individualized educational program and that 5 requires such board of education to be responsible for the 6 implementation and financing of such individualized educational 7 program. 8 Statement of Purpose: To require the Technical Education and Career System to accept and enroll students with individualized education programs.
