Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Assembly convened: That the general statutes be amended to exempt small businesses 1 from paying compound interest that accrues on a loan or other debt 2 obligation during any period that a pandemic public health emergency 3 has been declared. 4 Statement of Purpose: To exempt small businesses from paying compound interest that accrues during any period that a pandemic public health emergency has been declared.
