AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MORTGAGE RECORDING TAX.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That the general statutes be amended to establish a tax, to be 1
deposited in the General Fund, on the privilege of recording a mortgage 2
on real property located in the state. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a tax, to be deposited in the General Fund, on the privilege
of recording a mortgage on real property located in the state.
