AN ACT ELIMINATING THE CASH BAIL SYSTEM.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 54 of the general statutes be amended to eliminate the cash 1
bail system. 2
Statement of Purpose:
To alleviate the financial burden that such a system places on lower
income residents in our state.
