AN ACT ESTABLISHING THE CRIME OF MURDER AS A RESULT OF
A DRUG OVERDOSE.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That title 53a of the general statutes be amended to establish the crime 1
of murder for a person responsible for selling illegal drugs to a victim 2
who overdoses on such drugs and dies as a result of such overdose. 3
Statement of Purpose:
To establish a new crime of murder for those responsible for supplying
illegal drugs to a victim of an overdose.
