AN ACT AUTHORIZING CERTAIN FEDERAL LAW ENFORCEMENT
OFFICERS TO BE ABLE TO PERFORM CERTAIN FUNCTIONS UNDER
THE LAWS RELATING TO FIREARMS.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General
Assembly convened:
That subdivision (2) of subsection (c) of section 10-244a, subsection 1
(b) of section 29-33 and subdivision (9) of section 53a-3 of the general 2
statutes be amended to include qualified law enforcement officers and 3
qualified retired or separated law enforcement officers, as defined in the 4
Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act, P.L. 108-277. 5
Statement of Purpose:
To include active and retired or separated federal law enforcement
officers in certain laws relating to firearms.
